Memories by the score


I was really little but Nanny Kelly and me, cuddled up with Una on the plastic settee...


Nanny Kelly for us she would sometimes make Delicious pink iced coconut cake...
then she'd hide it away in her cabinet tall wide and yellow,
Thinking she had outsmarted this little fellow.


Me and Una snuck up on the top of Nannys Settee,
yellow cabinet open... us with Coconut cake heeheeheeee!! 
Nanny in the kitchen can hear all the fuss.. we get down really quickly ..
Hahaa.. no catching us! 


Nanny Kellys house had snow Globes, a lot more then a few!
and every visit she'd say 
"Dionne Come sit here and shake this ...ITS NEW!  She would watch as I shook with a smile on my face, Our Nanny had snowglobes all over the place!


Nanny Kelly had classic car posters up on the wardrobes and wall in her room 
I'd make horn honking noises and run round shouting Vroom vroom..  another bedroom had american football and the last supper of christ..
I loved the football wallpaper ..but remember the dinner didnt look that nice

Nanny Kellys Garden had big blue Hydrangeas  so we'd pick some to give her ..And some of course for her Neighbours..
Miss Mosely next door would give us cadburys cream eggs....well if we left her cat alone  and her flowers with heads..


Nanny kellys house with nutmeg cocoa to sip..but No stirring spoons in her cups

Nanny Kelly humming in the kitchen, on a christmas day..
us unwrapping prezzies on the frontroom floor and having fun while  we play.


These things never leave my mind, and tho I was Quiet small...
I have a thousand wonderful memories of my Nanny,  and I will cherish them all .
